Profile and display name

After you sign in, you can view and correct your profile in the account center. Set the display name to English name + city + the last four digits of the phone number, for example Alex北京4587, so the teacher can identify the student without a full phone number. You may ask us to delete personal information or close the account. We may keep records until open bookings, refunds, and breach reviews are finished.

Consent and withdrawal

Registering or signing in means you agree to the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. You may withdraw consent at any time through the platform’s contact channels. After withdrawal, we stop processing that relied on consent, but we may be unable to keep providing booking and lessons that depend on that information. Charges and refunds that already occurred still follow the Refund Policy.

Contact details and teachers

You may choose not to give a teacher your phone number, social account, or other contact details. The platform also prohibits that exchange. Arrange times in the student app or with an assistant. Do not send rotas or fixed schedules. The last four digits in the display name are shared with the teacher for that class only to identify the student. They are not an invitation to contact you privately.

Device, notifications, and ClassIn

You can manage this platform’s notification permission in your device settings. Camera, microphone, and similar class permissions are managed in ClassIn. Turning them off may make the class impossible, and that is not a ground for a refund. You decide whether to follow the account SpeakEasy简单说. Unfollowing it does not change how we handle account information, but you may miss reminders posted there. The booked time in the student app is the time that counts. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
